Hey Everyone! Over the long weekend last week Emily and I and a couple of friends spent the day at Point Dume in Malibu. The beach was so beautiful and there weren’t many people so it felt like our own private little beach. Since it was so beautiful Emily and I couldn’t resist but take a few photos which might of turned into a lot between the two of us. Emily and I printed our photos on polaroids with the Fujifilm Instax printer (I bought mine at Urban Outfitters here, but they also have it on amazon and other websites too). As I was looking at my little collection of polaroids I had the idea of showing you guys a few ways to display your beautiful images. Hope you enjoy these cute little fun ideas!
A couple of months ago when I first bought the printer I also bought plastic sheet covers to store my polaroids. I bought the plastic sheets online at a store called Poketo but they don’t sell them there anymore. Amazon and other little stationary stores might have something similar to that. The plastic sheets are 8 inches by 5 1/2 inches so I wanted to get a mini binder to put everything in so I picked up this mini binder from the Container Store by Russel and Hazel. (I bought the gold one, but it comes in 5 other patterns and colors.)
Another display idea is to hang them from a string. I think this such a cute creative way to show off your beautiful images which is also a great way to decorate any space. I used Baker’s Twine from paper source here and I bought a set of 6 different colors in oranges, pinks, and purples, and they also have another six piece set with blues and greens here. To hang the photos I used regular sized clothespins with prints on them, but you can also use mini size clothespins that would also look great. Supplies:
- Baker’s Twine
- Tape or push pins
- Mini binder
- Mini polaroid plastic protection sheets
- Fujifilm Instax printer of Fujifilm Polaroid camera
Hope you enjoyed this simple little DIY Project and keep posted for more projects like this. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions.
