Today Emily and I (Lizzy), visited the Alfred Tea Room on Melrose Place. We’ve been wanting to visit this cute little tea room for a long time now, and finally made it happen. This quaint little tea room met our high expectations and hopes, especially after looking at these photos from the alfred tea room instagram account. This place is a must to go to if you’re a tea lover.
It’s just as pretty in person!
I am forever grateful that these pink tiles exist

Happy weekend everyone! Heres a couple of little moodboards to get you through those last few days till summer!!
Good news everyone, the blog is back up and running again! We got our new theme installed, which we are totally obsessed with, and have so many ideas and projects in the works that you will be seeing soon. Recently I (Lizzy) just got back from a trip travelling along the east coast, to do some college tours, and see the east coast, which I’ve never been to before. When I was in New York, I stumbled upon the cutest Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village, named Olio E Piú. Heres a few photos I took at the restaurant, which by the way has the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, and I’m sure their other options are just as amazing!
Right next door to the restaurant was a little flower market with the prettiest succulents and cacti. I wish I could’ve taken them all home with me!
This time of year its especially hard to know what kind of shoe to wear. Even though it’s the middle of October and I feel like by now I should be walking out the door with a cute pair of booties on, its still sooo hot outside. I’ve been mostly wearing my sandals lately, and sneakers a little here and there, but here’s a nice inbetween shoe that combines a little of fall and summer.

I can’t believe that this day last weekend it was raining here in LA, and it was only 65 degrees. Today it was over 100, but even though its crazy hot, it really has begun to feel like fall. Fall is one of my favorite times of year, even though I seem to easy forget that, and it always seems to go by so fast and never feels long enough. Here are some photos to make this fall feel a little bit longer.
On Sunday yesterday Emily and I (Lizzy) spent the day walking around 3rd street looking going in and out of stores and checking out all of the cool walls of course! One of our favorite places we stopped by was Sockerbit, a swedish candy store with a minimal clean layout and scandinavian feel. The store was filled with colorful candy and white bright white walls. We left the store with our custom made bags filled with yummy candy!

After a hard school year, I finally finished my first year of high school! This year I’ve appreciated many more things than I did last year, like sleep and I’ve learned that there are little things I can do to help brighten my day or put in a better mindset that always help make things a little easier. Its different of course for everyone, but I put together a few little things that I do, that will hopefully give you ideas for yourself.
Write it down! This year I’ve discovered that writing down thoughts in a notebook or journal provides a stress reliever and really works. I have a lot of notebooks lying around in my room and closet (maybe fifteen!) and highly suggest to try and keep a journal the best you can.
Smells. Light your favorite candle or wear your favorite perfume. Being surrounded by a smell you love instantly changes the atmosphere in the room, and always makes me feel better.
Adidas sneakers have been a very popular trend this year. At first I didn’t love them, but they’ve really grown on me since and I’ve come to really like them. They’re very versatile sneakers that are comfy, functional and stylish. Adidas look best when worn with boyfriend, some skinny jeans, any type of flowy dress such as tee, shift, trapeze and shirtdress, and leggings. Also have fun when choosing your color! A little hint of red, green or even gold on your shoes can add just the right amount of color and pop for your outfit.

I can’t believe how fast April has gone by and summer is just around the corner now. For todays post I wanted to share with you my favorites from this April of projects, photos, fashion and more. Enjoy!
The past weekend I was at century city, where I saw Kim’s pop up gallery and I absolutely love all of her prints. Her usage of color, prints, and texture makes for beautiful photographs!
cahmun is one of my favorite instagram accounts right now. It is a photography food (mostly breakfast) account. Just looking at her photos makes me hungry!
when I was looking through pinterest, I found this really cute DIY mini flower bouquet project. I thought this easy and cute project would make for great little gifts or fun to make for family and friends. Here is the link to information on the whole project.
As I was looking on the internet I found an interesting article on photoshop before photoshop in the 1850s to the 1950s. Photo manipulation was created by using different techniques such as overlapping negatives, airbrush, exposures, and paint or ink. Check out the article here
During my weekly Urban Outfitters check in I found their collection of new spring/summer dresses. I always look forward to wearing my white and floral dresses this time of year!
